After a long day on the road, it was so wonderful to be greeted by Adel at the front desk. She was welcoming and helpful, and she made us smile even though we were exhausted.

Breakfast was good. Lots of choices. Hotel was old and the most exspensive of our trip. Smelled like weed inside the hallway. Beds were comfortable. The people above passed the floore all night. Charged $75/dog, we had 2 and they didnt even provide a decent place to take your dog to the bathroom. A small rocky area. For $150 they can do much better. Staff was friendly. If I travel through Albuquerque again, I will not be staying here.

The room is smelly, dirty and disgusting. The automatic shades don't work, but they left a spring clip to hold it up. Other seniors paid $118 per night but we were charged $188 per night because we booked thru Expedia. I asked for a refund, in order to rebook and they said sorry - too late. When I mentioned the dual shade was broken and had to be rolled up manually, the clerk laughed and said they will remodel soon and a previous tenant pulled too hard. As a final insult there was a pubic hair in the sink. I thought Expedia offered the lowest rates. We made our reservation the day before. It's been years since we stayed in a hotel this bad, and it's not like we are in the boondocks. We are in Albuquerque.

Everything was great except…. The hot tub is broken and the pool is cold… like really, really cold. We were told the place would undergo a renovation soon, hopefully they start there as we were here for only one night and picked it due to location and pool/hot tub. Service was excellent otherwise. Breakfast was great. Coffee was tasty.

Staff at check in were rude. Room had ceiling damage and no place to sit. We were accidentally booked into a handicap room and asked to change but couldn’t because it was a third party booking. First and only time in a Hampton Inn.

We noticed homeless people hanging around the area and a hotel just down the block was all boarded up. Not a reassuring sign. The hotel itself is clean and staff personable and efficient.
