In the 1970s when Indian jewelry, pots and sandpaintings were popular, Native American artists worked here and sold their wares. Galleria de Cervantes brings back the spirit of that time. It is filled with many forms of Indian and Hispanic arts and also a variety of art from contemporary southwest artists. New Mexico galleries often featured a guest room in the building since many collectors came to the area to buy art.
