Property Review: Honest Feedback on My Recent StayWhile the house itself is charming and exceptionally clean, several significant issues during my stay make it difficult to provide a fully positive recommendation. I believe it is important to share an honest account of my experience for future guests.Key ConcernsPersistent Noise Disturbances: The property is adjacent to a childcare center. During my first two nights, the center’s security alarm triggered approximately every 30 minutes between 10:00 PM and 2:30 AM. On the third night, the alarm sounded continuously, eventually requiring police intervention to resolve the disturbance.Safety and Maintenance: Upon arrival, I documented and shared photos with the host regarding the condition of the entryway. The front screen door appeared to have a ballistic puncture, which resulted in the glass of the primary front door being significantly cracked.Security Access Issues: During the stay, the electronic keypad failed, leaving the property inaccessible. I had to coordinate through VRBO to have the host dispatch a technician to restore access.Refund Policy & Communication: Due to an unexpected family emergency, I needed to check out earlier than my original two-week booking. Despite explaining the situation and involving VRBO support, the host declined any partial refund for the unused nights.
