The Comfort Inn & Suites Alameda has very friendly staff, and the hotel was clean. We stayed for two nights during winter break. The bed mattress was not very comfortable, and our room had a constant buzzing noise. We were located next to a back door, and when other guests used it, the door tended to slam, which made it quite noisy. While this is understandably not the hotel’s fault, a slow-closing mechanism on those doors could help reduce the noise. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing for us. The staff were attentive and kept everything well stocked, but the selection felt limited and not particularly healthy. This seems like an area that could be improved. Overall, the staff were a highlight of our stay.
