Vila Nuno is a lovely Algarvean villa set in private grounds complete with its own swimming pool.

The villa has been extensively remodelled with an open plan look featuring a new kitchen and refurbished lounge/dining area. Bedrooms have been upgraded with new beds, mattresses and wardrobes while bathrooms have been fitted with new sanitary ware and showers. The external doors at the back of the property have also been replaced facilitating easier access and locking.

The property is ideally located just a short stroll to the bustling and authentic fishing village of Olhos D'Agua with it’s many shops, supermarkets, restaurants and small bars. The wonderful beach is at the end of the village road, less than 1km from Vila Nuno.

Olhos D'Agua is situated between Vilamoura and Albufeira with the former less than 15 mins by car and the latter just 7 to 8 mins away. The villa is a short drive from Faro Airport, not more than 35 mins.

Golf courses are plentiful with the nearby 9 hole Sheraton Pine Cliffs while Vilamoura boasts no less than half a dozen courses. There are several water parks close by as is the excellent Zoo Marine with its famous Dolphin shows, all within a 25 min drive. The renowned Algarve Shopping complex in Guia is less than 20 mins by car as is the new IKEA (Mar) complex near Loule.

The overall feeling within the gates of Vila Nuno is one of tranquility and peace. You can expect to wind down here and relax within the grounds and enjoy the privacy on offer.

The villa is in a secure environment with electric entrance gates, security shutters on all windows and doors and a house alarm.

The villa is set up to accommodate 6 but can take 8 as needed. In this instance camp beds are set up in each of the twin rooms to facilitate 3 persons in each room.

The upper floor of the villa will always remain closed off during your stay as it is the private space of the owners. It will never be occupied during your stay.

There is a £75 cleaning surcharge for parties of more than 6 persons.

Fabulous stay, couldn’t ask for more from the villa or the host. Super market and nice restaurants only a 10minute walk away. Pool is a good size 8mtrs long with a shallow and deep end, this was perfect for ours kids with a mix of swimming abilities.

Lovely Family Villa

A well appointed home from home, within walking distance from a host of good eateries, bars etc, two well stocked supermarkets and a beautiful beach. A little further afield there is a lot to explore from the old towns of Silves and Loule to countless beaches, cliff walks and a lot more. Its a great base for a waliking or cycling holiday with some fantastic rides and walks for all abilities. I hired a road bike locally and enjoyed some very quiet well maintained roads. The villa is a lovely place to return home to, or to relax by the pool for days at a time. Gerry the host was great, very attentive and responsive. Would recommend!

Perfect

Gorgeous villa, beautiful private garden, large pool with steps. Everything you need for your holiday, very clean. Plenty of towels. It’s only a 5 min walk to some restaurants, and 10 mins down to the beach and the old village with restaurants. All very pleasant.

Wonderful Villa

This was our 2nd stay at Villa Nuno, it’s a beautiful villa, with a lovely outside space and pool. Perfect location for supermarket, restaurants and beach. Our grandchildren loved it and we already looking at dates for next year and the year after. I would thoroughly recommend this villa. Gerry the host was very helpful also.

Fabulous villa in a fabulous setting. Spotless and clean and all of the facilities provided where great. The owner was more than accommodating (Gerry) who helped us with several requests during our stay to make it smooth and easy. This is our 2nd time at Villa Nuno and loved it even more this time.

Beautiful holiday villa!

Overall a great experience. The communication before arrival was great so we knew information before hand. When arriving at the villa it was spotlessly clean and lovely. The garden was stunning and a perfect area to chill and have fun. All appliances were accessible in the villa. Close to the village so walkable to the shops & restaurants/bars. The pool was stunning, very clean & also had gardeners to come in on 1 day to do some general maintenance and give the pool a quick clean. It was also very private which was very nice as we felt more relaxed. Would highly recommend staying!

Lovely, comfortable villa with pool

The villa looked as good as depicted in the photos and was clean and modern. The pool and garden provided us with many hours of fun and relaxation and we had some great BBQs outside. The villa is an 8 minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants and a further 8 minutes walk to the lovely beach. The local restaurants are very good and there are a couple of well stocked supermarkets. The villa has air conditioning in the bedrooms which is almost essential in the high temperatures we experienced during the day in mid July. Overall we had a wonderful family holiday and would thoroughly recommend Villa Nuno.

Family Vacation

The property itself was lovely and very well equipped on all fronts. Gerry was always available to answer any queries we had and to resolve any issues which were minuscule. Although the villa was only a 10 minute walk into Olhos we rated it 4 out of 5 as it was a difficult walk back up the hill from the supermarket when carrying groceries each day. Overall though a fantastic break was had by all the family.

Outstanding Villa

This very spacious villa is like home from home with everything you need. The grounds and swimming pool are beautiful it is all kept to a very high standard with lots of seating areas. Lots of good restaurants with in walking distance. Taxis near by if you do not want the walk back. This was our second visit and hope to return again. The owner is very helpful and quick to reply to your questions. Highly recommend this villa for the perfect holiday.

Winter in the Algarve

We enjoyed 2.5 months in the Algarve during the first part of 2023. The home was an easy walk to restaurants, grocery stores and bars, as well as other small shops. The owner provided everything needed during our stay and the home was a wonderful place to relax in between touring and trips throughout the southern part of Portugal and to Spain. The beds were very comfortable which was especially appreciated due to our long stay....and our visitors staying in the rooms with single beds reported they provided a great night's sleep as well. Gerry (the owner) was always available and responsive when we contacted him with any questions or requests. We also really appreciated the central location of the villa to the rest of the Algarve and points of interest, as well as the close proximity to the Faro airport. The neighborhood is very quiet and the yard, pool, and view from upper balcony were spectacular and so appreciated throughout our time at the villa!

Fantastic property and location

Great hosts - easy to contact and quick response times. Property was very clean and had everything that you would need. Pool was lovely and we used bbq (local shop sold briquettes). Fantastic location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Easy to walk to beach and to shops. Only a few miles walk to Albufeira and easy to get taxis if you need to. Cabana cocktail bar only takes cash but everywhere else accepted cards. Would recommend staying at Villa Nuno - we had a lovely family holiday!

Fabulous holiday

We have been to Olhos d’Agua 7 times over the years and this was by far the best holiday we’ve had. Vila Nuno was simply the best accommodation we’ve found in the Algarve. The villa and its grounds, together with a gorgeous pool, were stunning and immaculately maintained. Everything we could ever need was provided within this beautifully furnished villa; we especially appreciated the outdoor table tennis which provided hours of fun in the sun. We found the sun loungers (don’t forget to take your own beach towel) and outside rattan dining furniture in great condition and comfortable. There is also a superb in-built barbeque which we didn’t use of this occasion but would certainly make use of on a future visit. The colourful flora surrounding the patio area is stunning but the leaves/petals required sweeping on a daily basis to prevent them blowing into the pool; this really wasn’t too much of a chore and provided some light exercise. The location of the villa is perfect for a quiet relaxing and stress free holiday. It’s only a 10-minute downhill walk to the nearest restaurants and bars. There were plenty of taxis available if you didn’t fancy the walk back up the hill to the villa at the end of the night! We were glad we had taken a decent torch for the final few hundred metres which has no street lighting. There are electric gates at the front entrance and an internal alarm for security to this secluded property which is well lit externally; however, it’s worth pointing out that we’ve never heard of any trouble during our many visits to Olhos. Gerry, the owner of the villa, was extremely helpful and friendly before booking, during our holiday and even after our return home which was so reassuring and greatly appreciated. We can absolutely recommend booking Vila Nuno and we can’t wait to return. Kim and Stuart Preston, Lancashire

Fantastic place!

This villa is superb in every way, it is in a lovely quiet location and yet only a 5 min walk into town and then past several shops and restaurants to the beach. It is also very spacious, spotless and not overlooked. We were a family of 6 which included our Daughter, Son in law and two Grandchildren aged 12 and 9. Everything that you could possibly need was there, it was like home from home. The villa had a very spacious outside including a bbq area and an immaculate good sized pool which the children absolutely loved. Gerry the owner was so very helpful with any questions that we had and was extremely efficient and quick with his replies and advice. He also recommended a good family run taxi company that we could use for airport transfers and throughout our stay. This company was fantastic and so friendly, they felt like family. Thank you Fabio and Theresa! All in all this villa is a little gem, nestled perfectly in Olhas De Agua, Vilamoura being a short ride one way and Albufeira the other. Excellent holiday and very impressed, (shame half term was only 1 week!).Thank you Gerry we will certainly be returning.

We have had an amazing time at Villa Nuno. Perfect location just 10 minutes away from the beach and restaurants. The villa itself is beautiful all open plan and very comfortable. Outside space is huge with the pool and well kept gardens and bbq for lazy days. 100% recommended you will not be disappointed.

Amazing family holiday

We stated at Vila Nuno for 10 nights July 2019, 4 adults and 4 children. We could not fault this property at all, its beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We loved the pool and gardens and bbq area, its very spacious and not over looked by anyone else. The villa is furnished to a high standard and very well equiped inside and out - everything you need is there from towels, sunloungers, kitchen utensils, hairdryers, washing machine and table tennis to name a few. The location was great for us, nice quick transfer from the airport and only a short ride to albufiera or villamoura which are both great for a visit. The beach is a short walk away, plenty of bars, shops and restaurants locally if you can tear yourself away from the poolside! We would not hesitate to stay at Vila Nuno again, Gerry was very freindly and helpful whilst planning and also during our stay. We had a fantastic holiday at Vila Nuno and hopefylly will be back soon!

A beautiful and well equipped villa

This is a lovely villa with private garden grounds in Olhos de Agua. It is well located for easy access to shops, supermarket and restaurants, and the beach just a little further but well worth the walk. The taxi rank is a few minutes away and always one or two there. The villa has everything you could need, including a good supply of books and games, and a great stock of logs for the wood burner, which you'll need for winter breaks. Very comfortable, clean and relaxing and we loved it.

Villa is wonderful with loads of space, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge and kitchen with fantastic facilities. Wifi good and AC in the 3 bedrooms. Extremely comfortable Pool area equally impressive with reasonable size pool and plenty of surrounding space. To be honest we spent half our time at the Villa just chilling and half the time at one of the local beaches. Everything well maintained and of high standard. Olhos d'agua is a good little town with local beach but we preferred a 10 min drive to Priai da Oura with a better beach and some great cafe and restaurants. Best property we have ever stayed in and would comfortably sleep 6 with a bed for everyone. The 4 of us were swimming in space. The combination of excellent accommodation and pool / garden area, easy reach to local shops and great beaches within 10 minute drive makes it the perfect location Owner was attentive beforehand sending good directions and welcomed us on arrival to show us the basics Nothing much more to say - just about perfect Thanks Gerry

A bit difficult to review as the property was great, really spacious, new, everything you could want in the kitchen, bedrooms, pool area all amazing - other than heating! Unfortunately we had bad weather for most of the week (14 degrees and raining). Nothing whatsoever to do with the owner, however in these really rare instances there still needs to be some contingency. There were plenty of blankets etc for night time so no issue sleeping but we really struggled to heat the main room, it was our only issue all holiday (other than the weather itself) I suggested to the owner that they make available a portable heater in future and this suggestion was taken on board with no issues whatsoever. The owner is very nice and very helpful. The property is well maintained, wonderfully spacious outside, loads of room for the kids to play around and importantly it’s safe - and it has a smart TV for those rainy days!!! If we weren’t already booked for summer we would have re-booked. Will def consider for future holidays.
