Astron is a modern A-frame escape in the Pocono Mountains — hot tub under the stars, that smell of the fire pit on your sweater, stunning lake views. The Layout

Astron sleeps up to 6 across three sleeping areas. Both bedrooms have king-sized memory foam beds. The loft holds a very firm pull-out sofa (king-sized when open, mattress topper available to soften the experience), and a separate bunk room has two twin beds (bunk) — ideal for kids or a third couple. At the very top of the A-frame is the Mile High Room: a small private nook accessed by a pull-out ladder, perfect for reading or pondering the universe. For safety, we ask that children not use this space. Two bathroom, one contains a soaking tub with a view.

Living & Kitchen

The open living area is where most of the magic happens — a freestanding fireplace, a smart TV for streaming, an Xbox, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and table games for slower evenings. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped, with everything you need for a quick breakfast or a full romantic dinner. Each bedroom also has its own TV and Marshall speaker.

Outside

Step onto the deck for direct lake views, or bring a fishing license and try your luck. Out back, the hot tub and fire pit are lit by string lights and the stars above — genuinely one of the best parts of staying here (firewood is often available but not guaranteed; it's easy to grab nearby).

The Design

Astron isn't your typical Poconos cabin. The interior is design-forward and a little daring — think tiny home meets boutique hotel, with a decor style that leans into cars and racing culture as a nod to nearby Pocono Raceway. Some elements are tasteful but adult-themed; if you're sensitive to that style, message us before booking so we can share more details.

A Few Honest Notes

Astron is about 1,500 square feet — comfortable for the right group, but tight if all 6 guests are adults. There's minimal closet space, and the upstairs bathroom is a wet room (the shower and bathroom are one open space). Most windows are triangular and uncovered (bedrooms and bathrooms do have window coverings), so if total privacy and darkness are priorities, this may not be the right fit.
Astron is entirely yours for the duration of your stay — the full home, the deck, the hot tub, and the fire pit area are private and exclusive to your group. The only exception is one small locked supply closet used for our cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Entry

The home uses a smart lock with a unique entry code, sent to you before check-in. No keys, no lockbox, no meeting anyone — just punch in your code and you're in.

Parking

The driveway is long enough to comfortably fit several vehicles. Street parking is not permitted in Indian Mountain Lakes, so all vehicles must park in the driveway. The HOA also requires that you register your vehicle information with them in advance — we'll send you instructions on how to do this before your arrival.

Community Amenities

As a guest of Astron, you'll also have access to the shared Indian Mountain Lakes community amenities — the 5 lakes, 2 seasonal pools, basketball and tennis courts, and playgrounds — with a wristband purchase (see Other Things to Note for pricing).

What We Provide

Linens (bedding + towels), toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion), a fully stocked kitchen (dishware, glassware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, toaster), propane for the grill, a coffee bar (ground coffee, pods, creamer, sugar), basic cleaning supplies, and a starter supply of paper towels and toilet paper.

What to Bring

Groceries and cooking oil (we don't stock anything with an expiration date), aluminum foil, and firewood — we often have some on hand, but it's not guaranteed. Firewood is easy to find at several spots nearby.

Booking Requirements

Please read our full house rules before booking. All guests are required to complete our rental agreement, attest to house rules, and provide a copy of a valid driver's license at the time of booking. Must be 25 years old to book.

Terraflame Fireplace Cans: the house will be equipped with 3 cans for the indoor fireplace. Each can burns for approximately 3 hours. If you would like to request additional cans for a fee of $10 per can, please let us know at least one week in advance.

By booking this home, you agree to the below rules, and all rules stated in the listing. Upon booking, you will receive a rental form that must be filled out and returned within 24 hours of confirming your reservation. You agree to provide a photo ID, that you are at least 25 years of age, and that you agree to provide the names and ages of all guests you are traveling with.

~No Parties or Events- due to Airbnb`s anti-party policy, we have anti-party technology in place to prevent parties. Only registered guests are allowed at the property.

~No Smoking in the house or the garage. Smoking is only permitted outdoors and please use receptacle provided for cigarette butts; do not throw them in the yard. Any excess yard cleanup due to cigarette butts will be subject to cleanup fees.

~Quiet Time- please keep noise level low or go indoors before 10PM. We are located in a quiet neighborhood of locals and we respect their peace.

~Wildlife- you will surely see many types of wildlife during your stay. Please keep your distance and give them respect. Do not feed animals! Feeding them is not good for their health and can be dangerous for you. Keep doors and windows closed when not in use to prevent the wildlife from coming indoors. Please ensure garbage is never left outdoors as wildlife will rummage through it and make a mess.

~Tampering with security devices is cause for termination of your stay.

~Hot tub- Please rinse off before entering the hot tub. Beauty products such as lotions and soaps can cause build up that requires additional cleaning. Please keep the cover on the hot tub when not in use, which keeps it at the desired temperature and clean. If excessive cleaning is required after your stay (e.g. drain and refill), additional fees will be assessed.
