in door pool was nice, room good! No TV because there was no cable. The hotel from the outside looks closed in bad shape. Didn’t think it was open when we pulled in lot! Very scary on outside, inside was nice! needs a lot of cosmetic work on outside!

Albert Lea Inn and Suites worked well for a one night stay. They are currently under new management, and the outside is slightly terrifying, but inside you'll find wonderful marble tile floors and cute decor. I cannot wait until the finished product is complete, it will be gorgeous! Thank you!

Old run down exterior of building. Sign on front desk stayed POOL CLOSED and NO BREAKFAST so we went to a different hotel and stayed as we have two kids (6&4) that was looking to swim.

It was a damn trap house. Trash everywhere, broken exterior locks, no cable or phone lines etc. Good luck working with Expedia to get a refund. What a nightmare.

1st off went to bathroom by pool no tp or pt. How do your employees wash up ? No tv service , ceral for breakfast, stains on the ceiling some black in corner. Beds sucks , out side is dirty Air sucks. Will never stay there again. The refolded the dirty bath towels for us to use nice .

Under sever renovation, lobby @ pool were great, however both ice machines were not working, no continental breakfast or even coffee! The electronic lock wan nonfunctional but that was ok as you could just walk into the room. Even with the deadbolt thrown, you could unlock it from the outside just by throwing the door handle. They have great potential, but had I known I would have booked elsewhere!

The hotel was obviously old and was being updated but the interior smelled of pot smoke through the entire lobby. Our booking got messed up between them and Expedia, which was annoying but worked out. The room doors were wide open when we finally made there. There was a dirty film on the floor of my room and black dirt on my bed spread. Those were unexcusable offenses in my opinion. The staff was nice. Maybe because they were the ones smoking... Who knows.

Sliding door lock was not attached the wall. Smoke detectors were missing. Electrical outlets were exposed. Floor was sticky when walking barefoot. Middle trim on bottom of door was broken and hanging. Facing was missing on dresser drawer. Light on bedside table was burned out.

Checked in at 10pm had to call the 3 times to get someone to the front desk. Pool was closed, which we wanted for summer time. Kitchen was closed for breakfast the next morning, which we expected. Internet and TV were not working.
