This hotel was the only one we could find within nearly a 100-mile radius after multiple flight cancellations and major concerts in downtown Charlotte left virtually every room sold out. We finally found availability around 11:00 p.m. and even had to take a $170 Uber just to get there.
Despite the stressful circumstances, the staff made a difficult night much easier. They were incredibly friendly, understanding, and genuinely empathetic about what we had been through. Since our luggage had been sent to our destination without us, we arrived with no bags, no clothes, and no basic necessities. The staff went above and beyond by providing us with complimentary drinks and hygiene kits, which was a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot after such a long day.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed to get some much-needed rest. Most importantly, the exceptional customer service turned a frustrating travel experience into a positive one. I truly appreciate how well the staff treated us and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!
If you’re traveling back to the airport using Uber, it’s best to plan ahead and order the Uber night before and give yourself an hour and a half drive time. There’s not many Ubers in that area that will travel back to that airport.
