This property is wonderful. Every staff member is incredibly friendly. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The included cooked to order breakfast was a welcome change from the hotel breakfasts we’d been having as we traveled cross country. The breakfast burrito was delicious. Even the giant dog biscuit they gave our dog was a cut above the standard biscuit. I wish we’d had time to borrow a sled to play at White Sands! Thanks for the very pleasant stay!

The property is beautiful, with a unique classic style that adds charm to the stay. The breakfast served is very good, with tasty and well-prepared options. However, the experience was affected by the waiter serving the breakfast. He did not take orders properly and often forgot or failed to convey them to the chef, which caused delays and impacted the overall experience. Improving the service quality would make the stay much more enjoyable.

Jesse, Jordan, and John made the stay particularly memorable. Guests are treated like friends and they go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of and equipped to enjoy White Sands and the surrounding area. Best made to order hotel breakfast deal I've ever had as well.

While the staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating we felt the motel overall was very old and dumpy. We were traveling with a pet, so we were given a “pet room” and it had a very bad odor, the curtains did not close all of the way (and the rooms are outside facing) and the bathroom window did not close all of the way. Furniture was very old and yucky. The pictures on their website are very deceiving as the pictures online make the motel look really nice. We were very disappointed however the room rate was good. I guess you get what you pay for, though we feel that we got less than what we paid for. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Table lamp bulb was out of order and no stock... Staff suggested to change the room, but I recommended to bring bulb from empty room instead. If the staff had such a flexibility, it would be better. Other issue was too slow breakfast. It might be due to shortage of staff because of thanksgiving holidays, but if that is that case, it might be better to prepare some kind of buffet, instead of individual menues.

The room condition was not so great especially it had a bathroom door that would not close properly, which was very inconvenient for us. We also felt that the room was maybe not as clean as we would have liked. We appreciated the breakfast menu and cook to order breakfast and all feels like the property could use some additional upkeep and renovation.

The motel seemed to be recently renovated, and it was obvious care had been taken to try to make the rooms comfortable and modern. The staff were pleasant, and the room was clean. The mattress was older and not terribly comfortable, and there was a musty smell to the room. However, delicious, complimentary breakfast burritos were served in their cafe, and overall, my stay was a positive experience.
