The neighborhood is ok, but our overall experience was disappointing & we would not stay here again or recommend it to others. While the host was responsive & allowed early check-in, the house & amenities were far below basic expectations.The listing was misleading. It is advertised as 2 bedrooms, but references 3; the third bedroom & garage were locked & unusable. The second TV listed is also in that locked room. A cat lives on the property, confirmed by the host, but this was not disclosed in advance, which was problematic due to allergies.Upon arrival, the house lacked essential supplies for a 20-night stay, including adequate toilet paper, hand soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, & clean sponges. The home was poorly cleaned: dirty tub & shower curtain, ants in the bathroom & kitchen, pet odors, flies entering through door gaps, & hair & debris on the floors. The microwave was dirty, cookware was burnt or damaged, & one stove burner only worked on high. The washer did not function properly, & the vacuum was unusable.Furniture was minimal & worn, beds were uncomfortable & loud, linens and towels were heavily used, & there were no dressers, luggage racks, or a full-length mirror. Holes in doors were covered with bandages & left unrepaired.While the owner addressed some issues after arrival, many problems should have been resolved before check-in. With basic improvements this could be a good rental, but based on our experience, it fell far short.
