From this iconic Ålhytta, designed by Lund and Slaatto in 1962, you can enjoy a majestic view of Hallingskarvet through large windows. The location 1020 meters above sea level gives you sun from morning to late afternoon and a unique feeling of being one with nature.





Named one of Norway's most important buildings, the architect-designed cabin combines functionality with timeless elegance. The open spaces flow naturally together, while the large windows let in both light and the mountain landscape outside.





Just behind the cabin you'll find a cozy sauna stall, perfect for relaxing after the day's activities. The south-facing plot has a sunny patio where you can light a fire in the fire pit while taking in the magnificent view.





Here you have endless opportunities for outdoor activities all year round. In winter, well-groomed cross-country ski trails await you in all directions, while summer offers great hiking trails to both Lauvdalsbrea and Blåbergi. For alpine enthusiasts, Ål ski center is just 20 minutes away.
