We enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, comfortable and staff were helpful - we added our room no to be called if the northern lights were visible. Just slightly out of Akureyri city centre, near the church but location was perfect for us.

Nice big bed and room, nice property, breakfast was great as well! The restaurant was a bit expensive but that is standard in Iceland. Only downside of the room was minimal ventilation, so you have to open the windows during a shower or the whole room gets humid

The hotel was lovely only issue I had was the washbasin for the bathroom was in the main bedroom area and the shower & toilet were behind an opaque glass door. Also when using the shower water wasnt contained in the shower area meaning toilet was surrounded by water. Hotel situated on a crossroads opposite the towns swimming pool. Excellent choice of items for breakfast. Plenty of parking.

If you like children running down the hall all night and all morning, this hotel is for you! If you like paper-thin walls that let you hear your neighbor snoring, this hotel is for you! If you like curtains that don’t block out the light during midnight sun, this hotel is for you! If you want to enjoy your and your hard-earned money, this hotel is NOT for you. The workers were all really nice I will give them that.
