Honestly I drove by seen the condition of the sign and went through all the recent reviews and decided to give it a shot and at least check out the lobby. This hotel is a more affordable option when staying in Akron. So, if the Hilton Garden Inn on Market Street is out of your price range, this hotel is nearby and offers an affordable alternative. It's not luxury, but it does the trick.

Room was clean, bed sufficiently comfortable and pet friendly! An added $50 for both nights for dog with $100 refundable deposit, but important to have our dog with us. Booked this as an alternative to a vrbo that didn’t meet our minimum standard, and was an improvement over that. Affordable and easy to secure.
