Nice, quiet and clean. Helpful staff. Close to canal du Midi. Kinda far from the metro if you're old or have a difficult time walking. If you're healthy, you can walk to downtown and the banks of the Garonne. Breakfast wasn't bad. Bed is between firm and soft. I thought it was comfortable.

Comfortable stay, communication with staff not always easy but they were nice. About 13 minute walk to main part of town which got a little old when I would have loved a nearby restaurant to grab a bite. But overall I was very happy with the hotel.

I would have given 5 stars except for a weird little interaction right at the end, when I asked the person at reception for a scissor to cut the tag off a shirt I’d just bought. He said we don’t have scissors at reception. No “let me ask my supervisor” or “maybe there’s one in the office right behind me.” Just basically “no” and no effort. Otherwise, clean, close to the train station but quiet, nicely equipped kitchen which I didn’t use bc it was a short stay, all positives.

This hotel says it has parking on site, but they don't take reservations and it fills up quickly, leaving most of our group with no place to park at the hotel. It was a bit of a hassle. There's also not really a convenient loading area, either. They service the rooms only once every 3 days, so 1 serving of coffee for 2 people was inadequate from the start. The first day i asked a housekeeper in the hallway got more coffee, but she said to ask reception. The second day I asked a housekeeper in the hall and she gave me more coffee. However other members of our group were told they couldn't have more coffee because they didn't check some box, we have no idea what. I also ran out of toilet paper my last night and had to use the facial tissue...

Modern, new hotel, good facilities and not far from the centre of Aix. The parking was fully booked but is wasn't too hard to find a space in a nearby side-street. There are not many shops/bakeries etc. near the hotel so you will need to walk into the centre to get a coffee/croissant, about 10 minutes.

We did not know that you could absolutely not get your room cleaned unless you stay a week. We were there three nights and all of our trash cans were overflowing. We had to get clean towels by switching out our dirty ones at the reception. Also there was no soap in the room. Every day we had to ask for a tiny bar of soap that was good for one shower. Pillows were bad. We bought our own pillows in town. Location was good. Short walk to the main area of town.

Good value / parking an issue

Our experience here overall was good and we felt it provided good value for money. The hotel room included a mini-fridge and a microwave and a good-sized bathroom.The hotel is convenient to a lot of central Aix. However, the parking (even in the underground garage) is limited and cannot be reserved in advance. We ended up parking at the La Rotonde parking garage -- about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Food options close to the hotel seemed limited.

Rooms are beautifully styled with natural light, sheer curtains and nice lighting. Bed was a bit hard, duvet was a bit hot, and the pillows were a bit squishy, but overall a nice place to stay.
