The hotel was nice - even though the location looked quite remote, there were a lot of dining options and grocery stores nearby. In addition, the nearby villages were nice to walk around and explore. It was very tranquil but not remote.

Good base to explore

Our family of 4 booked interconnected rooms for our short stay. It was helpful to have 2 kitchens (in the 2 rooms) as the range of utensils and crockery in just one kitchen was a little basic. We did however manage to cater for ourselves, as required. The hotel is located in a safe area, with coded entry gates and good parking. It has a small bar and breakfast facilities if needed. We enjoyed sitting in the hotel grounds - there was lots of choice of seating to enjoy the small pool and gardens. There is a bakery a few minutes walk away as well as a Lidl supermarket and petrol station within a kilometre. It was a good place to base ourselves to explore Aix en Provence. We also enjoyed the high-ropes/sports at the Decathlon Village 5 minutes away by car. The only negative was that we experienced a problem with ants in our kitchen, which was ignored by the cleaners when reported - although this was a bit inconvenient it was not a major problem. We enjoyed our stay overall and would return again.

We stayed at the hotel as a party of 4 in 2 rooms for 4 nights, and it was an excellent base for getting out and about in Provence. The property is very clean and well maintained with ample secure parking. The outdoor pool is not very big but there appeared to be ample sun loungers and it was very refreshing at the end of a day’s sightseeing. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette which was sufficient for us to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners but it should be noted this room is also your bedroom so easy on the garlic and onions! There were food options on site and we did avail of breakfast on one day which was convenient and sufficient but overall not great value. We made more use of the local Boulanger and Lidl for breakfast. There are good grocery shops nearby, Lidl and a ‘U’ Express as well as take away pizza and rotisserie Chicken outlets. It’s a bit of a stretch to associate the hotel with Aix en Provence as it’s actually in a town called Bouc Bel Air which is a 15-20 minute car drive away from Aix. There’s a bus stop at the end of the road to the hotel and the centre of Aix is a 30 minute bus ride. Aix is very pretty and well worth a visit. One sullen member of staff aside, who maybe was having a bad day, I would recommend the hotel as an excellent base for touring the area. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and secure. It is more like a motel than a hotel and I would say that a car is essential.

Beau cadre arboré, jardin et parking. je m'attendais à mieux pour un 4 étoiles. Chambre un peu décevante et vieillote. Méiterait une rénovation. Pas de cabine de douche, mais une baignoire avec douche. Pas de café ou d'eau à disposition, un peu limite pour un 4 étoiles. Petit-déjeuner correct en dehors de la baguette industrielle.

Tres bien mais peut mieux faire pour un 4☆

Accueil sympathique, dommage que pour un 4☆ il faut demander du gel douche, savon ( entre autre ) car cela n'était pas dans la chambre qui plus ai pour 3 nuits, obliger d'aller demander 2 fois ... Sinon la chambre avec équipements de petit stuio est fort appreciable... Un petit coup de rafraîchissement serait le bien venu...

Great property. But I gave communication a 3 because the check in staff unfortunately didn't speak English. Thankfully a staff worker that maintained the building was able to help and spoke English.
