The staff were wonderful and so accommodating and lovely to talk to. The owner, Mick, knows the area very well, and orients you perfectly. You get access to the main kitchen area and can stay on the property after check out if you need, and the rooms are big and clean. The views are amazing, and you can see the beach and water from the patio, and you're only a short walk into town. It is up a hill, however, so keep that in mind, but it's not a far walk up the hill at all. I would absolutely stay here again!

Would definitely recommend this if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. About 5/10 mins walk from all the action. A quiet location on the hillside overlooking the bay. Stunning views and lovely accommodation. Has all you need for a home from home experience. The host Mick is a lovely chap and full of local knowledge. Friendly and welcoming.

The Guest house is 200m up a hill and 300m from the main strip. we stayed in ground floor room 6 which was large (but had a seperate shower room and toilet across the hallway- but no other rooms were nearby). Breakfast was good only niggle was we could hear footsteps from the shared kitchen above on the first floor which woke us up at 6am. recommend book an upstairs room

The Airlie Guest House has a great view overlooking the town and Pioneer Bay. It's about a 5 minute walk into the main town centre and is very convenient for tours. The owners and staff are fantastic and the breakfast options are wonderful. I highly recommend the muffins!

Wonderful!

Just perfect! The guesthouse was easy to find, and parking was available right outside. We were greeted by the owner, Mick, who took time to show us around and give us all the information we might need. The guest house was friendly, welcoming and clean, and had everything we might possibly need for our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the en-suite was modern. We had a little seating area right outside the room with stunning views down to the town and out to sea. There was a well equipped kitchen area for each of the two floors and a wonderful breakfast was provided each day. The communal areas of the guest house gave guests a chance to mingle and it was interesting to hear about the trips others were taking. The cockatoos are very friendly too! I can’t recommend this guest house enough. It is just perfect. Thanks so much.

We had a great time staying Airlie Guest House! It’s located in a beautiful area and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, the supermarket, and the lagoon! In the morning you will have a complimentary breakfast and locally grown delicious mangoes all day long! Believe me, mangoes are very sweet! The view from the terrace is amazing and you will have the opportunity to feed the cockatoos in the morning and see a variety of birds all day long - we also saw parakeets! Mick and his team are very helpful and did an amazing job to make us feel like home. I highly recommend this place!
