With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Azulita can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people. It boasts a spacious fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary adventures. The open-concept kitchen is joined by a dining area and a cozy living room perfect for relaxing or watching your favorite show. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, spa-like en-suite bathroom and access to the main balcony where you can admire this amazing tree visited by many types of birds looking to feed on its wild berry fruit. On the ground floor you will find a huge open area with an outdoor kitchen and dining table as well as a terrace where you can sit and relax at pleasure. There is also a third bathroom for your convenience. Of course, your whole gang will be able to enjoy a beautiful swimming pool which has a sitting area with jets. Azulita is surrounded by nature, even a small pond and a tiny creek.
The location of Azulita makes it convenient to places like La Fortuna (1 hour away), Río Celeste, (1hr 35 min away) La Paz Waterfalls (1 hr 30 min away), Bajos del Toro (40 min away) and of course nearby hot springs. There are also less-known attractions such as a a butterfly sanctuary, a wild animal shelter and hiking trails less than 30 minutes from us.

The home was exactly as pictured, beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and plenty of trees, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hosts, Al, Ana, and Leo, were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed and more, which made our stay very comfortable. The property itself offered great amenities, including a pool with a jacuzzi, a ping pong table, and an outdoor BBQ area. Although located in a quiet town, it’s still conveniently about an hour from La Fortuna, with several nearby restaurants for easy dining options. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly suited for our group of two families (4 adults and 5 teenagers). A special highlight was Leo, who went above and beyond he even showed the kids four sloths, which was an unforgettable experience!
