My husband and I spent one amazing night here after hiking Mt Fuji the day before. We didn't know what to expect at our first Onsen but Kusatsu Onsen Buon exceeded our expectations. It is conveniently located by Yubatake Hot Springs and Sainokawara Park. It has a very zen and peaceful atmosphere. We booked a 90 min full body massage at the hotel and the masseuses were spectacular. They addressed every aching body concern after our hike! The breakfast was also plus. I would highly recommend them to my friends and book a stay with them again!

初めての草津を満喫できた。

・夕食後に布団を敷きにくる方とタイミングが被ったこと ・風呂の温度が高いこと(草津温泉の特性上致し方ないところもあるが。) ・洗面台の排水がなぜか毎回手動なこと(排水バーを固定する方法が分からなかった。) 上記3点除けば立地等含めかなりの高コスパ。到着から部屋までの案内、部屋到着後のお茶、お茶菓子のサービス、さらには説明等が素晴らしい。料理も満足。総じて高評価。

梅雨入りしてたので食事も温泉もこの宿で大正解だった。

草津温泉は初めてでしたが湯畑や西河原公園からの立地や口コミを見て2食付のプランで望雲に決めました。 バスターミナルから徒歩で10分くらい。 私達は早く着いたので西河原公園を少し寄り道してからチェックイン、夜に部屋飲みしたいなら湯畑を先に行ってコンビニで買い物を済ましておけば良かったです。 夜は雨が降っていたので食事も温泉も 全て館内で楽しめて尚良かったです。 夕食は18:30で決められてましたのでアクティブな方は時間調整は必要です。 個室に案内されて食べきれない程の品数と 追加のお料理、旅館のサービスなのかも？ すき焼きは冷めてしまうので固形燃料を追加してもらう方が良い！お米も最高に美味しかったです。朝食も品数多く見た目も綺麗でした。 コスパを考えると充分に納得のいける内容の老舗旅館でした。4〜5人グループで行くと尚楽しいかと思います。

温泉旅行に最適な旅館です！

接客も明るく気持ち良く過ごせました。 お湯もはさすが日本の三大名泉だけありぬるっとして肌がしっとりする感触で最高でした。脱衣所にはフェイスタオルが積まれており、気軽に何度でも入ることが出来、とても気の利いたサービスと思いました。食事も個室で落ち着き、味も美味しかったです。量は私達夫婦が割と少食な方ですが美味しいので完食したら食後1時間位は動けないほどでした^_^ 旅館から歩いて2、3分のところに草津温泉の観光名所湯畑があり夕食後にライトアップされた湯畑や土産店を散策して温泉旅行の醍醐味を味わうことが出来て最高の旅行でした。

草津温泉望曇良かったですよ

旅館の人の対応、清潔感は素晴らしいてす。料理も素晴らしい。温泉も素晴らしい。ちょっと気になったのが、部屋が一階というのもあったのかも知れませんが、人が廊下を歩いてる？、時とか、隣の部屋の音がちょっと聞こえたり響いたりしたのが残念でした。 ２階建て？の木造？だからしょうがないのかもしれませんね。 ロケーションも湯畑から少し離れてるので、騒がしくなく静かで良かったてす。

立地、食事、ホスピタリティ最高です

草津温泉といえば湯畑が中心になるかと思います。徒歩３分くらいなので、お昼はもちろん、夜のライトアップも気軽に行けます。温泉は２種類のお湯でどちらも最高でした。夕食朝食ともに頂きましたが全て美味しく、ゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができました。ホスピタリティに溢れる旅館で、総合的にみても次回も利用したいと思える旅館でした。草津温泉に行くさいは、ホテルよりゆっくり過ごすことができる旅館がおすすめです。

本館と新館があり、今回は本館利用でした。設備はどちらの建物も利用でき、新館の談話室は無料のコーヒーサービスもあり寛げる空間でした。浴場は3種類あり2種類の源泉掛け流しを楽しめるのですが、露天風呂がどれも空の抜けがあまりないです。宿の密集地なので、致し方ないでしょう。お料理は種類ボリュームとも平均的ですが、クオリティはもう少し高いものを望みます。また、少し乾き気味のお料理があったのは残念でした。最近は従業員が外国人の方が多いようですが、説明や受け答えが何か機械的で味気なかったです。

Had a great stay at the Kusatsu Buon. The kaiseki dinners were some of the best I have tried and the breakfasts were pretty good as well. The hotel onsen were spacious and relaxing and I also tried the onsens around Kusatsu during my stay as well and I would say that the ones in the hotel are on par with the main onsens in town. The rooms are standard Japanese style, nothing remarkably different, but still quite comfortable. Overall, highly recommended and well worth spending a weekend or even longer there.
