In summer, Aeschi is a paradise for hikers, with many scenic trails starting right from the village and breathtaking views over Lake Thun.

Interlaken and Thun are just 15–20 minutes away by car, and the area is also very well connected by public transport. Regular buses take you to Spiez train station (about 15 minutes), where you can catch trains to Bern, Zürich, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Zermatt, and even Italy!

Aeschi is a very charming Swiss mountain village. It is located on a sunny terrace overlooking Lake Thun and the Niederhorn on one side and the Niesen and Kandertal on the other side.
If you like to emerge in Swiss country side and village life, hence like to be close to the tourist hot spots (Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Spiez, Öschinensee, Lake Thun) - this is the perfect place for you.
Within minutes you can walk from the apartment to small coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, to the bakery and the bus stop to Spiez.
In winter, Aeschi is the perfect getaway to reach the ski slopes in Kandersteg, Adelboden, Frutigen etc. The Aeschiried ski and sledding area is a great place for children to get experience their first skiing adventures. Crosscountry skiing is an option for the grown ups.

There is a bus stop that connects Aeschi to Spiez. Bus 62 takes you there in 15 min. In Spiez you can take the train to either Bern/Zurich, Interlaken or to Valais/Italy

This is a private apartment within the Aeschipark complex. It is separate from the hotel operations. For questions please always refer to your hosts, do not go by the hotel reception.

We provide a set of three towels (small, medium, large) per guest per stay. For stays 5 nights and longer, we provide two sets per guest.

Please note that we cannot store luggage. We usually have back to back reservations. There are luggage lockers in all major train stations

When booking, please make sure to put the correct guest count. The price varies according to the amount of guests staying. We will prepare the apartment based on the amount of guests booked
