The Flat Nook is attached to a homestead on a working biodynamic vineyard situated in a secluded and peaceful part of McLaren Flat. Situated alongside a winter creek, The Flat Nook is a haven for lots of birds! Magpies, Cockatoos, Parrots, Kookaburras, Blue Wrens, Ducks, and much more. Your own private oasis amongst nature.

Newly renovated, the Flat Nook is equipped with a quality A H Beard Helsinki Queen Mattress for your sleeping comfort.

The kitchen facilities include a washing machine, a dishwasher, bar fridge, 3 burner stovetop, air fryer oven and microwave, Nespresso coffee maker. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your own meals or if you prefer outdoor cooking there is a kettle barbeque on the verandah.

The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet and a small walk-in robe.

There is a High Definition Smart TV with access to Netflix, IView and SBS on Demand that can be viewed from the comfy couch in the lounge room or swing it around and watch it while in bed. Access to free Wi-Fi.

The lounge room has a 4 person table setting with a view out the window or if you prefer enjoy the ambience of beautiful nature sitting at the outdoor setting amongst the native garden.

Such a serene setting, and so thankful to find that the hosts were kindred spirits who stocked the same environment-friendly household items that I have at home. After spending a night in Hahndorf which had overpowering scent sticks that clogged my sinuses, it was such a relief to be at Melissa's place, all natural. This property was the home of my Elliott ancestors from Devon in the early days of the colony so it was a very special visit for me. I could have spent all day staring out over the vineyards so the only extra I could have wished for was a seating area - even a park bench, to look out over the beautiful lines of grapes. It was a magical place to visit & I fell in love with McLaren Flat & McLaren Vale, and just wish I could have taken more home from the Saturday markets at Willunga. Very tempting to think about retiring around here. Thanks to Melissa for bearing with me during moments of 'Que?' While I was a bit sleep-deprived and disoriented after my flight. I especially loved the street signs saying there were horse trails beside the vineyards. Wish I'd seen that in action. Next time.

Fantastic location .. great property - all we needed, warm, comfortable and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to a number of cellar doors, great views and opportunity to find the wildlife. Owners are very helpful without being intrusive ... do yourself a favor and experience the Vales from the Flat Nook.

Nice flat next to the vineyard of the hosts in McLaren Flat. Very quiet area, best for relaxing. Melissa is a pleasant host, very friendly and committed. The flat contains everything you need including a washing machine. Very clean and cosy. I hope I come here some time again
