Breakfast, asked for an omelette. Could a clean pan be used to make it or one washed as I have a severe mushroom, fungi, truffle allergy. A rude "no" was the response. To say that I was unimpressed is an understatement. We had been travelling extensively for weeks prior to our stay at the Stamford and not once was it too much trouble. I'm certain I'm not the only person with an allergy to stay at your hotel. Very poor customer relations, very poor attitude by your cook (doesn't deserve to be called a chef). Will not be recommending your hotel to anyone.

Beautiful as it is, just tiny and bathroom was extremely tiny, as we couldn't move with the 2 of us in the bathroom as you bump in to the door which would hit the shower glass but the view was amazing.. Food was delicious.. overall beautiful..

2 night trip

The grandeur of the hotel lobby, breakfast area, does not reflect the actual room we stayed in. We didn't dare open the wardrobe as the door looked like it might fall in top of us, it was not in place on the track properly. The bathroom was dated but functional. The few staff we spoke were pleasant and courteous. The hotel is in a fabulous location for everything we needed, train station, shops, restaurants, we could see the oval from our window and park view.
