I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The owner has no business being in hospitality. Although his manager, Efya, did her best to make up for his lapses, the final straw came when we were told that an iron and ironing board could not be delivered to our rooms, and that we would instead have to pay extra to have our clothes ironed for us. Since we were in Ghana for a wedding in the East Legon area, that convenience was especially important and was one of the reasons we chose this place. We ended up checking out early, even though we had pre-paid for our stay in full. Contrary to what the owner seemed to think, we were not trying to tell him how to run his business—we simply chose to vote with our feet! There is also not enough space to fully address the so-called amenities, but I will say this: this is the first place we have ever stayed where an “inclusive breakfast” apparently means one egg is the standard. We will not be returning.
