"First off let me say, I don’t like leaving reviews that are less than favorable however, we had a very frightening experience and I was told a manager would call me. We 3 ladies shared a single room. The beds were good but the blinds in the room were dirty. No coffee maker. We overlooked that because the beds felt nice. We were awakened at 8:05am by a single knock and a man opened our room door from the outside scaring us to death. He asked if we were still there ? We think he was an employee and was wanting to clean the room. We were shaking. My friend was half dressed when the door came flying open and my other friend was on the toilet. I was awakened from a dead sleep. We immediately, gathered our things, packed and went directly to the office to report this worker had entered our room at that hour without permission. I was shaking when I got to the desk and the front desk lady was so nice and very concerned. She told me a manager would be calling us and that she thought this man was new there. We didn’t get back to our room until after midnight the evening before. We saw a man in the stairwell. We are not sure if this was an employee that evening however, the morning person barged into our room and terrified all 3 of us. 8am is too early for anyone to enter a room where quests are without permission. Since the manager never bothered to call us, we get that they probably don’t care about our safety and concern. We were disappointed no one called us back"

"Bed was very comfortable and all of the amenities were good. The filtered water tap was broken, but the property manager was quick to provide some bottled water if we needed it. Very responsive. The gas stove/fireplace couldn't be started because batteries were dead in the remote, but the mini-split in the living space did an excellent job of insuring a stable and comfortable temperature. Overall, a charming experience."

"This place is beautiful. The beds are comfortable, and the room was more like an apartment than a hotel room! The only complaints I have, and they are minor, is that they need better coffee and they need outlets near the bed. The coffee is a Folgers prepackaged in a filter. When I made it, it looked like the color of apple juice. I even used less water because I like my coffee strong. The lack of outlets was a problem because I could not plug my CPAP in, therefore I had to go without. I wouldn't let these things stop me from staying here again though. The lady at the check-in was super nice, and again, the place is just gorgeous. "

"Lovely place to stay while exploring the area. Horses were right outside our window. Also at several good meals at the onsite restaurant. "
