Place is very central to town and lots of things accessible such as restaurants and grocery shopping. The expo center and zoo are less than 10 minutes away. Really a great place when you need to be on a trip and still function as a home.

The Back Porch was a great experience! The place was very clean, everything worked well. It was chilly outside but the heaters made the inside super cozy in no time at all! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay in Abilene for a great price! I will probably use this property for all my stays every time I visit Abilene moving forward, I enjoyed it that much!

Private yard, comfortable beds, clean and smelled amazing. Fridge stocked with water. Needs more coffee mugs, but otherwise great for our family attending a Hardin Simmons football game.

We used an odd Keurig selection (provided by host) which produced a burnt smell. After checking out we were told we were being charged the extra cleaning fee for smoking in the unit (which never happened). Tried calling Vrbo and could not understand one word the rep was saying. It’s too bad a trip to see our son in the Air Force ended with such dishonesty. Nice scam VRBO!

Great location

This is a great alternative to a hotel. We were in town for Abilene Christian University Homecoming to visit our college kid and it was close to campus and very convenient. Good neighborhood, close to restaurants and downtown. The only critical point I would have was the hotwater ran out on our shower about 5 minutes into it which was not a big deal for a man who takes a quick shower but was problematic for my wife and teenager.
