Arrived at the hotel I need to be told that the facilities were not available to use the pool was under construction and the entire outside space was a construction site. This was not made clear at time of booking and hugely disappointing hotels also located in a derelict area.

Good hotel Le plateau

Nice hotel . Nice bar and restaurant area. Service at reception is slow so don’t leave checkout for the last minute . Most of the staff are generally pleasant. No decent restaurants within walking distance so you have to grab a taxi or eat at the hotel . Lovely views if you have river facing .

I fell ill during my stay and I was taken to the hotel infirmary to meet their friendly doctor, I received a prescription and one of the hotel staff went out, got it and brought it to my room. I was checked on regularly up to my departure. Thankful for the extra support.

Friendly staff but lack of maintenance

A hotel absolutely overpriced and with a lack of maintenance. Room and especially the carpet is old and requires either deep cleaning or replacement. Nice and friendly staff and cleaning ladies that are doing their best, but the owners have to invest in better maintenance.
