The hotel and breakfast were great. Check-in took longer than expected since I was sent to an occupied room twice. Staff did eventually get me into my own room and upgraded me for the trouble so all in all it was a good stay!

We landed very late and got to the hotel around 6am. The check in took a long time which was very frustrating as most of the formalities could have been completed the next day at check out as all we wanted to do is go to sleep. There was also an issue with the room assigned being also assigned to someone else and people tried to enter the room three times between 6-8am which kept waking us up. The staff did apologise the next morning but it’s really not a mistake that should have happened, especially when it didn’t even look like the hotel was anywhere near full capacity.

Lots of staff (not serving), I was left standing at the bar with 4 staff behind chatting to each other, I ended up walking away. At breakfast there was only one person clearing the tables and so new clients entering had to clear their own table before they could find a spare seat/table. Food areas were left top run low/zero for a while before someone cam from the kitchen to restock. No salt & pepper put out at breakfast table settings ! There is plenty more !

I have stayed here many times over the last 6 years. The new addition and new rooms are a much needed upgrade from the original rooms. I have had many issues with this hotel over the years. The restaurant has become overpriced for poor quality food. The restaurant used to be very good. The staff is not organized, on my return trip I had to wait 20 minutes to be checked in at 8pm. If you need a room by the airport, it works, you don't really have an option other than Radisson Blu, which I have also stayed many times over the years, which I would rate also very poor. You don't really have a choice, either stay at Onomo or Radisson Blu. I don't recommend either, but you have no choice if you want to stay by the airport.

An amazing time at Onomo

It was nice to be back at hotel Onomo. I am getting so used to place that it feels like home. The staff are really helpful and professional. I can’t wait to be back. I still remember the kindness of some of the personnel like at the reception like Mister Maurice Yao, Kady and Kader. Well done to them. I’ll BE BACK…👌✅

Very nice and clean place to stay, especially when you have an earlier flight to catch. They do offer a free shuttle to the airport as well. However, it can be hard to move around Abidjan if you are new and do not have a car. Your option to move around town may be taking a cab or Yango which is a type of Uber. However, expect to spend a lot. But if you are on budget, you may want to go somewhere else.
