When I arrived I received a very warm welcome from the owner and all of the members of staff that I met. I had an excellent dinner on two nights at the hotel and once again the staff were excellent offering a very personal service. On one of the nights the restaurant was quite busy but it didn't affect the great service or the time it took to prepare my meal. It was the same at breakfast where the choices were excellent.

Warm welcome upon check in, generous sized room and en-suite for solo traveller, comfortable bed, equipped with kettle, tea, coffee, etc. Very enjoyable dinner in-house and also breakfast. Staff were very helpful in recommending places to visit. Would be very happy to return.

Beautifully situated in the Welsh hillsides with fantastic views and at the side of a waterfall this 230 year old coaching inn is modern in all requisites and is maintained in superb condition gaining 5/5 in hygiene standards.
