The building its self Is lively. The Hotel was lovely & beautifully decorated inside. Hotel and decor Looked very sophisticated and elegant. Was given an upgrade as was a a Birthday. Hotel literally steps away from train and bus station. Amazing location.

The property was hard to find at street level. It took us 45 minutes to find the hotel, then find a place to park. We were on the top floor. The room was clean and spacious but the mattress was thin, and outside noise ie people on the street and emergency vehicle sirens were heard all night. No signage on the doors to say where you need to go makes it a bit confusing at times. Meals in the restaurant were lovely, and well priced.

Reception area nice and friendly reception staff.bar staff also nice and friendly ..rooms very tired and in poor condition..Also the cleaner didn’t pay attention to the do not disturb sign and banged on our door early after a night out I’m presuming to see if it was empty to clean ..location was good and the price was cheap so I suppose you pay for what you get . Probably won’t be returning though due to the terrible bed and overall room condition.

This was a nice hotel, quite traditional and it made a nice change from the usual cheaper hotels with no personality! The front desk team were really helpful and friendly. I paid for the upgrade and although my room was nice, it was really small but had a large shower room that was lovely. Bit chilly though - could have done with a heater in the bathroom. Stormy weather meant the bathroom window leaked and resulted in my toiletries being soaked so I had to ask for spare towels from reception.

A poor first impression of Aberdeen

The hotel is conveniently close to the train station in Aberdeen city centre, with a car park at the back. I had trouble knowing which car park to park in as it was dark when i arrived, there is no lighting and signage non existent. Car parking bays are not marked out and as the car park is a strange shape it was difficult to determine how to park. Unbeknown to me there is a £10 per night additional charge to park, this in my opinion for the condition of the car park is unacceptable. I believe they have another car park and the one I parked in is an overflow car park. However this first car park which does have marked bays and lighting was full. It is a small car park and very tight to maneuver as i discovered when i ventured to see if there was a space. The hotel foyer and reception area is welcoming, staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant area looked pleasant. The room we had was very tired looking with a large window that at first I thought was open because the draught and noise was so bad. The windows are clearly very old and inefficient. The hotel did provide earplugs in the room, but if like me you can't use them, this is not the hotel for you. The shower in our room was cold unless you turned the water flow right up. Breakfast at a weekend isn't served until 7.30am but as we needed to leave at 7am we had to leave on empty stomachs. I would not recommend this hotel unless youre happy with cheap and cheerful and are can sleep in noisy environments.

My nights sleep was so comfortable I feel compelled to ask the hotel the make of their pillows, mattress and duvet. The staff were top notch from management, to reception to kitchen. Every query and request was met with satisfaction. Will definitely be booking my next Aberdeen trip with The Station.

Beautiful old hotel located in the city center. Beautiful old staircase. Hotel rooms were very large and beautifully decorated. Easy walking distance to amenities.

Booked a superior room, nothing superior about it. Hole in the wall, marks on the walls, paint missing, dirty carpet. Window in the room rattled with the wind and woke us up numerous times during the night. The glass was actually coming off the frame, we could pass a sheet of paper through it. Informed reception in the morning, nothing done about , reminded them at 4 pm the same day, still nothing done about it. Asked for fresh towels,tea and coffee for room and didnt get them. Had to go ask again. The towels we got had holes and black stains on them. Got no apology from the hotel. The hotel is in a good location. Bar and restaurant area looked clean

Hotel is right across the street from the train station. Also across the sreet next to train station, there is an indoor mall with lots of restaurants & stores. The hotel itself has a good restaurant. A short walk takes you to a main street with lots of stores, pubs and restaurantsas well as easy access to bus transportation. The beds are comfortable & rooms are kept spotless.
