What a lovely hotel to stay at! Staff were so friendly, rooms and premises very clean. Large buffet breakfast with lots of selection. Highly recommend.

The room I was given was shabby and not fit for purpose, I may be disabled but that doesn't mean I should be expected to put up with exit signs in the room lit up all night, or disgusting floor tiles in the bathroom. The staff where great and moved me to a room with a shower and grab rail.

lovely staff. Area around hotel(external to hotel) is a little run down as we walked from station, came via the steep steps. Found next day another way to the hotel without steep steps.

Hotel was fully booked. We were in a room outfitted for someone in a wheelchair. We have stayed in rooms like that before and all was well, but this one was different. The trash can foot pedal was cruddy and broken, a rack?/handle bar was missing from the wall (exposing sharp brackets), the tile on the bathroom floor had been sloppily painted over and was peeling off in spots, caulk was peeling off, etc. What all this peeling revealed were stains and discoloration underneath. It was yucky. When we attempted to share this feedback upon check out, the receptionist was quick to tell us that the damage was from wheelchairs. She acted like she did not care what we had to say. Regardless of the cause, the appearance was not acceptable. Otherwise breakfast was ok (but crowded) and we didn't experience noise through walls that others have reported. It was an ok stay overall.

The staff was incredible for the entire time we stayed. So helpful and friendly! 5 star service! The hotel itself is dated and there was about an inch of dust under the clothes iron in our room, but the room was otherwise relatively clean.

It was in a side street which made it really quiet. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, everything you could need from a comb to an iron and ironing board. Would definitely come back again.
