Upon check-in, I wasn’t asked to sign anything, but my credit card was automatically charged. When I got to my room, I realized I’ve been charged $50 more than the Expedia price. Returned to the front desk and and was told “Oh, that’s just an amenity charge you get it refunded at the end. It’s really not a charge”. Why didn’t she tell me this when I checked in. Seems sleezzy.

All the staff make you feel welcome and like you are part of the family. And because my husband was doing kidney dialysis across the road in the mornings, they made sure he had a breakfast bag to take with him. That was really special.
