I’m fed up with hotels charging high fees for rooms and then charging for parking.
The car park is there why charge for it ?
The receptionist was rude when I commented on this.
It’s not clear when booking
A warm welcome and excellent service. Given the unprecedented snowfall of the previous week, and the fact that the hotel was full, I was really impressed with the personal and cheerful service I received. Two members of staff even came out and dug a space in the heavy snow for me to safely park my car in the car park. The room was comfortable, with heating which worked perfectly, and the breakfast was a buffet with a good selection. Thank you for a warm and great stay!
Staff very pleasant at front desk. Room clean and tidy. Only let down was that pathway up to front door covered in thick snow,other hotels had cleared pathways back to black.
The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. The hotel seems to be operating in a very small staff and the dining menu was limited and the dining area a bit soulless and emotionally cool. It would be nice to us e a shuttle service on cold and snowy days to the airport

Staff great. Room was ok but c the carpet in room 409 was so stained it either needed cleaning or replacing plus on entering the room you could still see bits on the floor, which I picked up. Bath towels quite small. Everything else in the room was excellet only the carpet made me not want to put bare feet on the ground.

Coffee in the morning, made by friendly receptionist
The room was very clean - the only one thing was the marks on the carpet under the mirror area which were very noticeable as soon as we entered the room. I was unsure of it was marked or burnt?
The parking was very good and very reasonable priced considering what some hotels are charging now.
Bed was very comfortable, adequate lighting, bathroom very clean and stocked with all toiletries. A quiet room. Although not used there is a very well stocked service area at reception providing a wide range of products
Breakfast in the morning was very good with a good choice of items…….I never realised that poached eggs or omelette could be provided.
Overall a very good hotel with excellent service
Room was clean apart from a few marks on the carpet. Cosy and warm as it was snowing and freezing outside. Breakfast choice was good. Staff very friendly.

Despite paying for parking - I received a parking fine. I was travelling in my work van so the fine went straight to the directors with managers etc copied in. It was quickly cancelled but still felt like I shouldn’t have been put in that position in the first place. I made a complaint and was assured I’d get a call within 5 days but never heard anything back. With the large selection of hotels in this area, I’ve recently been using other nearby hotels. Left a bad taste. Won’t be back.
