This house with an ancient flavor in the Resinelli is ideal for those who love to spend days outdoors, surrounded by nature and discovering breathtaking views at the foot of the Grigna. It is perfect for hikers, trekking enthusiasts and for those who want to experience the authenticity of the mountain, away from the chaos of the city, in a location where it is possible to minimize the aggression of technology. The apartment, located in one of the oldest houses in the Resinelli family, offers a cozy and rustic retreat where you can recharge your energy after a walk. You will enjoy privacy and private parking inside the park, whose entrance is in any case a stone's throw from restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and play area of the church loved by children. Strongly recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in a place where it is necessary to “dedicate themselves to taking care of the little things in the house”, such as turning on the stove and the fireplace to heat the rooms, enjoying the evenings in the silence of the mountains without internet and television, possibly disconnecting the mobile phone.
What to do and see in the Resinelli
The position of the house is simply unique: a few steps from the center of Resinelli, at the crossroads that begin and end the “tour of the ring”, the walk in total relaxation that connects the center with the various paths that go up from the lake and that lead to the Grigna and its famous shelters such as Rosalba or Porta, or even the Ferrario bivouac. The Resinelli are a popular destination, offering emotions and experiences both in summer and in winter. We can remember the Valentino Park with its very famous viewpoint and footbridge over Lake Como; the mines with their mining park; the winter toboggan area for the little ones; or you can even go up to Rifugio Porta, a starting point for trails and via ferries for the more experienced that lead to the top of the Grigna, the gym of the Ragni della Grignetta, one of the most prestigious international mountaineering groups.
The house: hospitality and history
The apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic villa surrounded by a fabulous private beech park, and part of an ancient house divided into three units. The apartment has undergone a recent conservative renovation, and maintains all its original charm without losing the authentic mountain atmosphere .
The apartment is accessed through a wooden door and four steps, entering a cozy and warm environment. The kitchen, simple but functional, is dominated by a large working fireplace that heats and creates a unique atmosphere. In front of the fireplace there is a gas stove with oven and external cylinder, a small refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave and sink, equipped with everything necessary to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
The sleeping area consists of an anteroom with a gas stove for cooler evenings, two bedrooms — one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed — and a simple but functional bathroom equipped with a toilet with shower, sink, and a small shower with curtain, perfect for cooling off after excursions.
The outdoor spaces
The outdoor spaces are the real value of our proposal; the windows overlook the private park, and guests have at their disposal a stone table located right in front of the entrance, ideal for outdoor lunches, dinners or breakfasts. In addition, in the large park that surrounds the house, there is an equipped area reserved exclusively for guests, perfect for moments of relaxation immersed in unspoiled nature. In front of the house, under the big beech tree, the swing for the children.
Management and reception
Upon arrival you will find the house ready with sheets and towels for all guests, as well as a welcome kit with oil, salt, pepper, coffee, shampoo, body wash, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper.
Heating
The heating is available from October to April inclusive, and is provided by a single heater placed in the center of the rooms, which runs on LPG gas supplied by an external cylinder; it has an additional cost of 50€/day. Guests will receive instructions for managing the cylinder change, through a local partner who will deliver and replace the cylinders. City Tax: € 1,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights
