This place is made great by the smiling, warm staff! Absolutely everyone was gracious and went out of their way to be welcoming, helpul and kind - truly! A particular shout out to the friendly wait staff at the restaurants, the fabulous (stop you in the hallway to ask if you need more towels) housekeepers and the always helpful and interested front desk. Place is pretty spotless and I loved the palm-like trees --feels like a tropical resort Italian style. Thank you to everyone at the Abano Grand Hotel!

What a fantastic way to visit the beautiful city of Venice. Stay at the Excelsior on the Lido and take their beautiful boat into the city at night when the crowds subside. Make sure to also go for a long walk on the seawall and jump in the Adriatic

This was a very nice property and spa stay! The pool and spa were the highlight. There is a free spa area with lots of amenities, like a wonderful Turkish bath, a salt sauna and very warm pools to swim long distances in. There are also plenty of paid spa services which seem to be delivered with a high standard of expertise. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, but don’t order off the menu because they don’t specialize in some of the simple choices like poached eggs, which were prepared and served with water. Dinner was expensive and sub par; very disappointing. Go out for dinner for sure. The property caters to a more mature crowd, so we weren’t intimidated to spend a lot of time at the pool in our swim suits. It was an overall great stay!

un pò datato ma bello, checkout non posticipabile, neanche l'ingresso in piscina, massaggi stra cari, vogliono mantenere questo clima di super lusso quando poi il super lusso non c'è, a colazione non c'erano camerieri, vado ad ordinare al banco una omelette, mi dicono che devo attendere un cameriere per ordinare, trovo un cameriere in piedi poco distante, chiedo l'omelette, mi dice che devo sedermi e che sarebbe arrivato un cameriere a prendere l'ordine. mi siedo, attendo 5 minuti che arrivi, ordino l'omelette. essendo di fretta in quanto avevo un trattamento da 250€ prenotato 15 minuti dopo, ho dovuto mangiare di fretta. credo che la sensazione di lusso debba percepirla il cliente, non debba essere imposto dalla struttura. il banco era vuoto, lo chef non stava facendo nulla...bah
