Schotte Youth Hostel, a 55-bed facility in the green heart of Aalst

JVC Schotte is a Type C youth hostel with 55 beds. It is located in a green setting within walking distance of the city of Aalst. All around us, on the same grounds, you’ll find, among other things, a high ropes course, a trampoline park, kayaking on the Dender River, rock climbing, laser tag, stand-up paddleboarding, a rafting trip, arrow tag, and much more. Take a walk or run around in one of the two nature reserves located next to our youth hostel. The city of Aalst also has a wide range of activities to offer, such as guided walks, free museums, pottery, ceramics, and so much more. Next to JVC Schotte is the modern Schotte sports complex, which offers a wide range of sports halls for indoor and outdoor sports, as well as fitness and track and field facilities.
