In general, the hotel seems smelly, dirty and not inviting to stay at. There is a friendly receptionist, but the rooms are very spartanly furnished without any kind of comfort or pleasantness. Cold and depressing and extremely bad air. The only window was towards the mature food area which is a very small and closed atrium room. everyone has an open window, which gives a loud acoustics of what is going on in other rooms, which can be a bit frustrating when partying and having loud sex at 03:30 PM. it is possibly the premise of the location which I was unfamiliar with when I booked, but I will never stay there again

This is a glorified motel. Nothing like the pictures or descriptions, no reception staff on site within stated hours. Grubby and dated, paper thin walls and poor breakfast.

Tried twice online to cancel my two nights. Input email, confirmation number etc. To no avail. And you cannot call any number, as there is none. Have stayed there 3 times before, all good, but this year I broke my shoulder and could not travel. When the last night (16th Dec) came around i managed to get hold of the concierge, who told me his boss or supervisor would call me. Never happened.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was quite close to a pedestrian shopping street. The room was comfortable and clean. The rest of this review comes from the perspective as an American traveling abroad. Europeans would probably find this to be a pretty normal hotel setup. I guess I missed that the hotel is situated on a walking street and that there is no way to unload without parking in a nearby garage. It took me several loops around the block to find the public parking garage. We were also surprised to be met with a flight of stairs from the street to the lobby. And another spiral staircase up to our room. It was fine for us and there did seem to be a carrier to haul luggage up the stairs. Older vacationers might want to check on this before booking their stay. Even with surprises, the hotel was charming and quiet considering that it is conveniently located on a street full of restaurants and bars.

Great location

Right at the top of Aalborgs party street, make sure that’s what you want :-) Parking is round the corner and an excellent 24hr 7/11 across the road.

The window to my room opened onto the breakfast room which is weird and there was obviously noise disruption because of that. The breakfast was very basic with to many sugary items and there were pictures on the walls that I found too obscene for a breakfast/ lounge area. On the first day I asked if I could store my luggage and was told to leave it next to the reception in an open access area. I was informed this was secure but did not feel comfortable. Only after check out when asking a different member of staff if I could store my luggage again was I informed there is a secure, locked room just around the corner from reception. This was a better. The central location and service were good.

Incredibly small rooms!

I never realized hotel rooms could be this small until I arrived in Aalborg. The room was legitimately the size of a train compartment - so small that I could stand by the door and reach my leg across to touch the opposite wall. Oh well. It’s Scandinavia - high prices, for very little. The breakfast was good, but served in a bit of a cramped corner, so people were shoving me, and I was shoving them. It’s good enough for a night, but at this price, it might be better to spend a few more Kroner and give yourself some breathing room.

nice hotel :)

Wonderful breakfast and very kind staff. Some windows on the first floor face the breakfast room, better to check the view before leaving them open :) The hotel is in the middle of the nightlife area, but I heard nothing.
