A Country Escape

Pure peace, relax to soothing sounds of singing birds, chickens trotting around, whispering winds through the trees and have a beautiful campfire, you may even see our doe and her little one as you drive up the driveway!
We are twenty minutes to Greenville, ECU Health(local hospital) and East Carolina University (almost a straight drive to the hospital and college), eight minutes to the town of Ayden and ten minutes to Winterville. New Bern and Little Washington are forty five minutes, the beach is an hour and twenty minutes! Local restaurants and breweries make for the PERFECT night out. If you are traveling with a group check out, A Breath of Fresh Air also!
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

This was our second stay. Very pet friendly. There’s a cat that comes around and is very friendly. I don’t care for cats but she made me actually like her. She just kept inching towards me till she was sitting on the arm of the chair that I was sitting in. Love the chickens. It was so peaceful and LaRita has set up the rv to have all the comforts of home. Plus the salsa and chips will make you wanna slap somebody. When I go home again I will book with them. Everything was very clean and tidy. If you are visiting NC book a stay you will truly love it there.

Very conveniently located near a retriever field trial event we were attending. The host was responsive, provided bottled water and snacks, and the camper was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Peaceful and Relaxing

My husband and I enjoyed our trip to A Country Escape. We chose to stay here because it was a beautiful, secluded area for us and our dog. The camper was so well equipped, clean, and nice decor. The hosts were awesome as well and even provided us with homemade salsa, chips, and extra snacks! What a great get-away!
