"Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. The room was beautiful, the property was well maintained, and most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our only disappointment was the check-in experience when we arrived a little early. We understood that check-in was not available until 3:00 p.m., but some of our questions about the property and room requests were met with very brief responses. We were hoping for a bit more hospitality and information about the amenities while we waited. Fortunately, our experience improved significantly at check-in. We were welcomed warmly, received a lovely room, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The spa, BBQ area, and lakefront setting were all great additions. Aside from the initial interaction, everyone we encountered was kind and accommodating. We loved our room and had a very enjoyable visit overall."
