"There were three police cars at the property when we checked in working with a guest that had been physically thrown out of the facility she and her dogs were waiting at the curb and she was crying hysterically. The rooms were not very clean both we and our fellow travelers both thought that the rooms could have been in better shape than what they were."

"I think this is the most beautiful spot along the Rainbow River. A few feet upstream the river splits to go around 2 islands. the branch that runs by the house is shallow (up to waist deep), clear and almost magical. Its a great place for young swimmers, especially if they want to go to the private island or learn to paddle board or kayak. The dock and ladder allow even us 84 year olds to easily hop into a kayak and paddle up or downstream. Being a prime spot on the river, the house was built in the early days and as a result was not or is not easily remodelled. The owners have certainly have tried. The owners are friendly, gracious, and prompt to solve your problems. We had a delightful February. "
