"We stayed in Hanksville on our way to Capitol Reef. The room was clean and cozy and well appointed. The only complaint I have is that these individual units sit side-by-side in a parking lot on the side of the road. The room itself had charmed, but the location, not so much. There’s a good restaurant across the street that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. And they also offer a free laundry which was really nice."

"We had an incredible stay at Capitol Reef Domes – Oak for our 16th anniversary and couldn’t recommend it more. Will, the owner, was polite and communicative from start to finish, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. The dome itself was spotless and thoughtfully set up. The bed was super comfortable after a long day of exploring. The mini-split worked great and we were able to keep it a comfortable temperature. the whole space had that perfect mix of cozy and unique. We made use of the BBQ, which was convenient, and the fridge was exactly what you’d expect from a hotel—with a cuter retro vibe. The bathroom setup was excellent as well—assigned, very clean, and close enough to the dome to be totally convenient without taking away from the experience. One thing we appreciated more than expected was the location. The nearby highway actually made the dome easy to find, and noise was minimal and never disruptive. Plus, the proximity to all the Hanksville-area hotspots was fantastic—everything we wanted to see was just a short drive away. Overall, this was a memorable and comfortable stay with great attention to detail. We’d absolutely come back."

"We loved our stay. Spotlessly clean with a very nice sitting area where we were able to see the sunset and the amazing stars while sitting in the warmth of the dome. Little touches were included like utensils, plates, toiletries, heated blankets and a fan. We would definitely stay again! "
