"The hotel is very clean but is older and it's age shows in some areas. The view from our room was beautiful of the water and the mountains. Nice that there was a refrigerator, coffee maker, an iron, and hairdryer in our room. Loved the fact we could open the French balcony door for fresh air. The staff all helpful and lovely. We ate at the sports bar and that was good and coffee in the cafe. My husband and sister had fun at the casino one evening and a DJ played music on Saturday night. The location of the hotel is superb and centrally located. Anacortes has wonderful breakfast places at Dad's diner and Calico Cupboard Cafe and Bakery. So good!!! We visited two gorgeous Tulip gardens, went to the Tulip festival street fair in Mount Vernon, walked the boardwalk and shopped in La Conner, ate dinner at Chuckanut Manor Seafood & Grill that overlooks Samish Bay & the San Juan Islands, and took a tour boat to see the whales. Great experiences and So fun. Would stay here again."
