Fresno Airterminal (FAT) Airport is located in the eastern portion of Fresno and is over 60 miles from Yosemite National Park. Taxis and buses offer transportation to the airport. There are also several different parking options to choose from on the property. Typical flight times are a little over one hour to Las Vegas Mccarran International (LAS) Airport. Do not be afraid to request a limo or a taxi to get you to your final destination, especially if it is located somewhere on The Strip. You can also take a shuttle or rent a car.
Guests come to Las Vegas to be a part of the party atmosphere that is prevalent along The Strip. Here casinos line both sides of the street, each one offering something different when it comes to gambling and attractions. Don't miss a trip up into the Observation Deck of the Stratosphere to get a 360-degree view of the city and all its lights. If you are looking for a break from the party atmosphere, consider taking a tour of the Hoover Dam located about 30 miles away.
Las Vegas summers are hot and 100-degree temperatures are not unusual. On the other hand, in September, things begin to cool off. December and January draw big crowds because of special events, including New Year's Eve. Wintertime is a little bit cooler but temperatures once again get comfortable starting in March.
