West Palm Beach International (PBI) is located only three miles west from the town of Palm Beach, and is easily accessible via I-95. If you travel from the north, exit 69B is the one to take, while from the south, it is exit 69. When traveling to Chicago O’Hare International (ORD), the typical flight times are usually in the range of three to four hours. Chicago is about 17 miles from the airport, and can be reached using taxis found outside the baggage claim of each terminal. Airport shuttles are also available, and can be found at the Bus/Shuttle Center on the main level of the parking garage.
To view some of the most diverse art collections in the world, check out the Art Institute of Chicago during your visit. The Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum is great if you have an interest in space, while the John G. Shedd Aquarium is perfect if your tastes are aquatic. For a great view of the city, visit the John Hancock Center, and to relax after a busy day of exploring, check out Millennium Park.
Winters in Chicago are cold, so be sure to pack warm clothes. In spring, you can get away with lighter outerwear, while summer temperatures are hot enough for light clothes. Most of the hotels in Chicago are located in the Near North and River North areas.
