Left late, arrived early. Good comfortable flight, and good service from stewards.

Newark International Airport (EWR) lies between the cities of Newark and Elizabeth, and is close to 15 miles southwest of Manhattan. You can reach the airport using NJ-21 S or the US 1 S. For travelers going from EWR to Nassau International (NAS), the flight duration is a little over three hours without stops. At NAS, also known as Lynden Pindling International Airport, you can take a taxi, rent a car or use ferry services for some nearby islands. The airport is ten miles west of Nassau city, which is accessible via John F Kennedy Dr and Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.
Nassau is known for its marine attractions and nightlife, with many clubs on Bay Street. You can visit Cable Beach, see trained dolphins at Blue Lagoon Island, take boat tours, or even sample rum at John Watling's Distillery. For those interested in historic or quiet sites, there's Christ Church Cathedral, The Cloisters Nassau, and Clifton Heritage National Land and Sea Park. Paradise Island is just over four miles away, with its Versailles Gardens, Cabbage Beach and water activities.
Nassau has a mild climate, with temperatures usually staying above 60 degrees at all times. Hurricane season runs from June through November, so plan accordingly and check for alerts if your trip is planned during that time. Travelers to Nassau usually stay around the beaches and shorelines.
