Getting to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport (STL) is easy when you use the MetroLink from downtown St. Louis, as it delivers passengers to both terminals. Taxis, buses and shuttles are also available to the airport.
Flights drom STL to Orlando International Airport (MCO) usually last for about two hours. Once there, pick up a rental car or shuttle to get to your final destination. It is important to note that there is a hotel attached to the airport for added convenience.
Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, a collection of theme parks and water parks. Universal Studios and Universal's Island of Adventure are also popular attractions in the area.
To get a break from the rides, check out Discovery Cove. Here you can jump in the water with fish and dolphins while getting an up-close view of a reef.
While the closest beach is about an hour away, there is plenty of opportunity to swim or take surfing lessons.
You can expect to see the sun on most days during your stay in Orlando. In the summer, from June to about September, expect to experience temperatures in the 80s and 90s with a fair amount of humidity. The rainy season starts in October and stretches out to May with temperatures decreasing slightly.
