Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) can be reached via Interstate routes 15, 80 and 215.

Flight duration from SLC to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is between two and five hours, depending on airline and stops. PHX is close to Highways 51, 60 and 202 for transportation around the area.

The Desert Botanical Garden features a huge cactus garden, as well as examples of desert vegetation from the world’s deserts. Heritage Square is part of Phoenix’s original town site, with eight buildings completely restored from the early days of the city.

The Phoenix Art Museum has exhibits ranging from the Renaissance to Baroque and the Far East to the American West. It also has live performances and films for viewing.

The city of Phoenix is located in the Sonoran Desert, and has a climate typical of the area. Summers are long and very hot, so don’t worry about bringing rain gear, because you’re not likely to experience any precipitation during your vacation.
