Your flight from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO), will bring you to the exciting City by the Bay. From Chinatown and the Castro, to Haight-Ashbury and Telegraph Hill, San Francisco is made up of exciting and varied neighborhoods. At SFO, renting a vehicle is a cinch. In a little more than an hour, you can take your rental car down to San Jose via Interstate 280.
In San Francisco, the only major interstate is I-280, which runs east to west. State Highway 101 runs through the city from north to south and connects to most of the major roadways. The observation deck at Coit Tower is a great place to view the city, from the wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge.
For some fresh air, you can visit Pier 39. After walking down the length of the pier and enjoying a little window shopping, you can visit the sea lions that enjoy catching some rays on the rocks nearby. You’ll also find some amazing views of the boats sailing by on the bay.
After boarding your airplane at the Orlando International Airport (MCO), you can expect to spend more than five hours in the air before arriving in San Francisco.
