Whether you're flying into Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) for a wild spring break, or a stress-free family vacation, you'll be able to escape from the bustle and cold of New York City.

Myrtle Beach is a popular coastal city in South Carolina, renowned for its 60-mile stretch of sandy beaches called the Grand Strand. While enjoying the warm subtropical climate, you can go crabbing in Murrells Inlet, build sand castles at Surfside Beach, go shopping along Broadway at the Beach, or fish off Springmaid Pier.

Key Facts

If you're looking to explore beyond the beach, you can head south on Route 17 to stroll through Brookgreen Gardens, or you could visit the Salt Marsh Preserve of Pawley's Island. Driving a bit further south will take you to Georgetown to tour Hopsewee Plantation and enjoy Front Street's evening ghost hunts. Those looking for an adrenaline rush can try powerboat rides from Barefoot Landing, take a spin around Myrtle Beach Speedway, or ride the Hurricane at Family Kingdom.
