Minneapolis-St Paul International (MSP), within 10 miles of Minneapolis, is the largest upper-Midwest airport. It has two terminals that aren't connected by a major roadway, but you can take the I-35E or I-494 for both buildings.

Flying from MSP to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) takes nearly three hours nonstop. JFK is at Interstate 678's south end, and airport transit options include the New York City subway system, taxis and rentals, with booths right in the Arrivals area.
