Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is conveniently located just a short drive from downtown on either I-495 or Highway 71. There are plenty of parking options if you are driving yourself to the airport. It's also easy to get there via a taxi or the shuttle bus. The Metro Bus Service is another advisable option that can deliver you at the airport in good time. Flights usually last for about three-and-a-half hours to Portland International (PDX) airport. You can get into Portland by taking I-205 or I-5. The airport offers both taxi and rental car services. If you prefer, you can also take the TriMet or a shuttle bus.
Major Portland attractions to visit during your stay include the Portland Japanese Garden, Washington Park, Old Town Chinatown and the Oregon Zoo.
