Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is conveniently located just a short drive from downtown on either I-495 or Highway 71. There are plenty of parking options if you are driving yourself to the airport. It's also easy to get there via a taxi or the shuttle bus. The Metro Bus Service is another advisable option that can deliver you at the airport in good time. Flights usually last for about three-and-a-half hours to Portland International (PDX) airport. You can get into Portland by taking I-205 or I-5. The airport offers both taxi and rental car services. If you prefer, you can also take the TriMet or a shuttle bus.
Major Portland attractions to visit during your stay include the Portland Japanese Garden, Washington Park, Old Town Chinatown and the Oregon Zoo. You can also see the Pittock Mansion, Mill Ends Park and the Paul Bunyan Statue. Sporting events occur at The Moda Center and Ron Tonkin Field.
