Houston George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) Airport is over 20 miles from downtown Houston. Travelers often choose the METRO bus to get to the airport, although taxis and shuttles are also available. Flight times are usually two-and-a-half hours to Minneapolis St Paul International (MSP) Airport. Once there, take the Metro Transit light rail or the bus service to get into downtown Minneapolis, only ten miles away.
Minnehaha Park is located beside the Mississippi River and is home to a 53-foot waterfall. Here hiking and biking trails make it easy to get around. The Guthrie Theater is a treasured icon that opened back in 1963. Various tours are available, including those that allow you to go backstage. Nearby is the Mill City Museum as well as the Stone Arch Bridge. The Chain of Lakes byway offers you access to five of the lakes near the city, each with their own activities and attractions.
